Last of the Long Drives

Days 29-30

Two last long drive days as we made our way from Seattle to Death Valley via Debbie, our welcoming host in Boise, Idaho.  It was a delight to taste a home cooked meal, something we’d really missed over the past few weeks. 

After leaving Idaho and entering Nevada, the landscape altered.  We felt as though we were in a Western movie with barely any signs of civilization (or public toilets!) and a continuous backdrop of rugged, dry mountains.
